Windermere vs Terwillegar vs Riverbend | Southwest Edmonton

If you’re looking for a home in Southwest Edmonton, there’s a good chance Windermere, Terwillegar and Riverbend will all end up on your list.
They are three of the most recognizable residential areas in southwest Edmonton, and all three offer strong access to amenities, schools, recreation and major transportation routes.
But they do not feel the same.
After selling real estate in Edmonton since 2010, I find the easiest way to explain the difference is this:
Riverbend is the choice for buyers who want a more established, mature and quieter neighbourhood environment.
Windermere is the choice for buyers who want newer construction, modern architecture and newer development, particularly south of Anthony Henday Drive.
