There are also several small playgrounds and large parks located all around the region, including Kinsmen Park, Nellie McClung Park, Mill Creek Ravine, Gallagher Park, and the Saville Community Sports Center.

The University of Alberta area is in a great location. A car ride to downtown Edmonton takes roughly 10 minutes, with a few different options for roads that will take you there. The University of Alberta area in and of itself is located around several major roads, and not too far from major highways. Public transit branches out from the campus, making navigating around the region quite convenient. Those who like to cycle or walk can also access the city from the High Level Bridge of Edmonton, as there are designated paths on the bridge for cyclists and pedestrians.
